Many Changes....

Faith
Things here at C Bar M Ranch have changed quite a bit since my last post. Horses have come and gone on to find their forever homes. I brought home several problem horses this year, and later re-homed them with educated owners. A few horses have been added here as well. Earlier this year I bought Faith aka: Country Music Girl. Faith is my pleasure prospect and is getting ready to be started under saddle. She has already been packing both the saddle and the bridle, but I will be putting my first ride on her as soon as we have a couple day stretch of clear weather to put a couple of rides on her.

Hope went to what we thought was her forever home, but was unfortunately later resold. I can only hope that she is in a good home that cares for her well being.

Scarlet, Ace & Junior all found a new home with a friend of mine in horsey heaven, Oregon, where they have all the food they could ever want as well as an abundance of friends.

One horse that we brought home this year was our beloved Bella. She was a rescue we took in several months ago. She was very underweight due to her owners financial difficulties. We brought her home and put several hundred pounds on her. She was 31 years old. After we treated abscesses in her feet and she regained health, she played daily with the other horses. She didn't have many teeth left, so her food was specially prepared. Unfortunately last week she coliced and began to bleed internally. We had no choice but to euthanize her. I am happy that we got to spend her last few months with her, she touched all of us with her joy for life, her enthusiasm and spunk. She may have been 31 years old, but she could out run my two year olds.

Rest In Peace Bella  1981-2012
